What jpl-las Vegas is all about 

The Joseph Project of Las Vegas- is a Ministry of the Chapel of Improvement Christian Fellowship of Las Vegas. The goal of the Project is to reach the African and non-African Refugees and Immigrant communities within our State-Nevada. The Joseph Project is in partnership with the following organizations. The Partners are Water of Life Lutheran Church, (ECDC)- African Community Center, African Ministerial Council of Nevada (AMCN), House of Victory Church-Nevada, Light of Christ Church-Las Vegas, Restoring Lives Ministries In,t-LasVegas, Freedom of Praise Ministry-Las Vegas and Man of Faith ministry-Las Vegas.

our goals are: 

I. To seek to befriend immigrants and refugees by offering necessities like food, household items, non-food items and clothing as needed.

 

2. To Seek to help Immigrants and Refugees by offering training services such as ESL and literacy classes, Basic Caregiver Training (BCT), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Health Card Services, Computer training, and Documentation needs, or Direct immigrants and Refugees to people and places that already offer such services.

 

3. To seek in offering Bible-based Spiritual support and counseling to individuals or families through support groups when possible.

 

4. To provide Bible training opportunities for children and youth using Sunday school, Vacation Bible School material, Sport camps and our once-a-month kids’ activities and other activities or events throughout the year.

 

5. Seek to meet the spiritual needs of immigrants and refugees through regularly scheduled Bible studies and full fellowship or worship service.

 

6. To Train up leaders from the refugees and immigrant community to gradually take on more and more of the responsibilities of caring for new refugee and immigrant arrivals and bringing them into the Christian fellowship family of the church and faith.

7.Supplies monthly and weekly necessities like food, household items, non-food items and clothing to refugees and immigrant families as needed.
